Sysco Guest Supply Europe's Dubai based Business Development Manager has proved that he is fighting fit by finishing the 10k Dubai Marathon!
Lal was one of almost 6000 runners to take part in the grueling and infamous event, managing a very respectable time of 48:06 - securing him 456th place.
Lal was pleased with his results, especially as it was unchartered territory for the experienced runner, having never before entered a competitive event.
"I could have finished at least five minutes earlier thanks to my own technical faults - but it was my first ever run in a competition event so I'm very glad about it".
Sysco Guest Supply Europe would like to congratulate Lal on his fantastic achievements, and we look forward to seeing him competing against Haile Gebrelselassie at some point in the near future!
